This Privacy Policy explains how Aesthetica Dental (“we,” “us,” or “the practice”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit aestheticadentistry.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

This policy covers information collected through our website. Protected health information created or received in the course of dental treatment is handled separately under our Notice of Privacy Practices and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form or otherwise reach out, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information — such as the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, your browser and device type, your referring page, and a general (city-level) location derived from your IP address. Some of this is gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

The Site is for general information and initial inquiries. Please do not include detailed medical history, diagnoses, or other sensitive health information in the contact form. If you are an existing patient, use our secure patient portal or call the office for anything involving your health records.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• respond to your inquiries and help schedule appointments;
• operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
• understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it better;
• communicate with you about your request; and
• meet our legal, safety, and security obligations.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and understand how it is used. Our measurement providers are Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), which show us aggregate usage and, in Clarity’s case, anonymized session activity such as clicks and scrolling. These tools do not tell us who you are by name.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Service providers we share information with

We share information only with the vendors that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only as needed for those purposes:

• Resend — delivers your contact-form submission to our office inbox.
• Google and Microsoft — website analytics, as described above.
• Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.

We don’t sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Links to other services

The Site links to third-party services such as our online booking (ZocDoc), patient-financing partners (Cherry and CareCredit), our patient portal, and our social media profiles. When you follow those links, the information you share is governed by each provider’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Our social media

We publish the practice’s own marketing content — including before-and-after photos shared with patient permission — to our social media accounts, sometimes using connected scheduling tools. We do not collect or store personal information about our followers through the Site.

Data retention

We keep contact-form inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and analytics data for a limited period consistent with our providers’ standard retention settings.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted through the Site by emailing care@aestheticadentistry.com. You can also opt out of analytics as described above and unsubscribe from any non-essential communications at any time.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes their child has provided information may contact us to have it removed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information submitted through the Site. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
